Public Policy and Cultural Values Paper

Write a paper of approximately 900 words in which you will in which you will explore a public policy issue and how it is perceived by different cultures within the United States.

• Select one of the following U.S. public policy issues in which cultural values within the U.S. may influence individual or group views.
• Compare and contrast the perspectives of three different cultural groups within the U.S. and explain and support with research source material how cultural values contribute to these perspectives:
  • o    Immigration reform
  • o    Family planning service access       
  • o    Affirmative active in higher education
  • o    Affirmative action in the workplace.
• Use at least three sources, two of which must be scholarly sources (peer reviewed studies or journal articles) from the West library.
