Public Budgeting

Final paper shall be an attachment put into the Final Exam drop box.  It shall be 1800 - 2200 words, APA format double spaced with a cover sheet and a reference page.  Grading will not only be on content but also on grammer, spelling and format of your paper.

Topic: Various taxes and charges exist throughout all Government agencies in the United States.  You are the newly elected Governor of your state, how would you set up your tax package (which would be a series of taxes or other revenue sources to address your states financial crisis?)  Explain the thought behind the process, your approach, what you would adopt and what you would not?  How would you get your state back on track and at the same time try to make it fair for everyone??  Is that POSSIBLE!!

This will take some research. 
Appropriate references may include books, journal articles, magazine articles, other online references, and court case citations. The body of the paper should contain an identifiable introduction, analysis and discussion of the topic, and a clear conclusion. The papers should be written in the third person.
