The human experience is composed of an endless series of decisions. Humans make thousands of conscious and unconscious decision every day. This assignment will allow you to research some of the factors that influence decision making.

Directions:

Write a paper of 1,000-1,250 words in which you discuss the effects of categorization and social influences on decision making. Include the following:

1. A summary of the cognitive processes used to understand ourselves and others. (Benchmarks C 3.5: Analyze cognitive processes used to understand ourselves and others.)
2. A discussion of how categorization specifically influences individual decision making.
3. A discussion of how social influences specifically affect individual decision making.
4. This assignment requires that at least two additional scholarly research sources related to this topic, and at least one in-text citation from each source be included.
5. Learners are required to use APA style for their writing assignments.
6. Must have an abstract.
