Think about something in psychology that you would be interesting in studying. You can select a topic from what you’ll be studying in this course or another topic that seems intriguing to you.

How would you use the scientific method in examining your research problem? Be sure to go over each step of the scientific method in your response.

Which research methodology would you use to examine your research problem? Why? How is this research methodology different from the other methodologies in psychology? The research methods are covered in section 2.2 of our Chapter 2 reading in Learn Psychology (Carter & Seifert, 2013) and include the descriptive methods: Naturalistic observation, case study, survey, and correlation method, as well as the experimental method.
