1) Choose one of the areas listed below pertaining to social psychology. You will find the areas in Chapter 11 on "Social Psychology." Think about a film you saw in the past that covers the topic of your chosen areas. When discussing the area/topic, first explain the theories and research findings covered in your chosen area, then describe briefly the film, followed by describing how the specific theory/theories or finding(s) are reflected in the film.

Area 1-- Roles and Rules: pages 341 to 347.

Area 2 - Social Influences on Beliefs and Behaviors: pages 348 to 355.

Area 3 - Individuals in Groups: pages 356 to 361.

Area 4 - Us Versus Them: Group Identity: pages 362 to 364.

Area 5 - Prejudice and Group Conflict: pages 365 to 372.
