This is a CLC assignment.

In groups, research an area of complementary or alternative medicine (CAM).

Create a PowerPoint presentation (minimum 10 slides) on a CAM topic.

Presentations should include a reference slide with at least two outside sources (besides the textbook).

Websites are acceptable, but they must be scholarly in nature (Wikipedia is not acceptable). The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) website is a good place to start.

Presentations should present the following information:

1. The guiding principle of the therapy (how/why it is supposed to work)
2. Its history
3. The logistics of how it is used
4. The conditions for which it is supposed to be effective

While APA format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
