PSA 150 word summary

Public Service Announcement is any announcement made free of charge (unlike an advertisement) which promotes programs, activities, or services of federal, state or local goverments (ex. military recruiting) or the programs, services or activities of non-profit organizations (ex. Red Cross, Salvation Army). PSA's attempt to raise public awareness about a major social problem facing society and aim at changing attitudes and behavior concerning the problem raised.

1. Choose an example of a PSA. Describe the PSA and explain how it attempts to raise public awareness and change attitude and behavior. Do you feel it accomplishes its goal?
