CHOICE #1: Senior Odyssey is an intervention to promote cognitive health that incorporates many of the health-promoting psychosocial factors we’ve discussed this semester into the intervention’s design. First,describe the four key featuresof Senior Odyssey. Then selecttwo of the four key elementsand describe how those characteristic of the intervention might operate to promote better cognitive function (e.g., try to draw a link between the specific key feature and associated psychological, social, behavioral and/or processes that might promote better function).

CHOICE #2: Experience Corps is an intergenerational civic engagement program designed to harness the wisdom, time and energy of older individuals to assist young children in succeeding academically and behaviorally. Experience Corps is also hypothesized to be a health promotion intervention for older adults. Describe thethree main pathwaysthrough which Experience Corps participation is hypothesized to promote better health and functioning in older individuals.
