Grading Rubric for Project Paper

Criteria	Points
Length of paper; should be approximately 3 – 5 pages, double spaced.	20 points
Correlation to the pre-approved Course Outline.	10 points
Citations; refer to the course syllabus for number of citations.	25 points
Content of the paper will be evaluated according to the above core content rubric.	45 points
Total	100 Points

A project over a topic of the students choice: 100 points. To earn points both items, Discussion and Course Project, the Course Project must be submitted and posted in the Discussion. 10% of the 100 points grade basis are earned through the required response to another student's posting. Citations are required. Number of citations at a minimum for the letter grade of A = 15. Number of citations for the letter grade of B = 10. A paper submitted with fewer than 10 citations will receive the letter grade of D.
