It is probably safe to assume that every cultural/ethnic group finds something that is undesirable in its community. But, in spite of the " undesirable" element, it somehow manages to thrive and many times, makes itself part of the cultural landscape.

Yet,what exactly makes the unwanted aspect so distasteful in the eyes of a community?

After coming up with gerneral ideas, think specifically about the Chicano community. What do you think is something that is preceived by them as an unacceptable part of their Community/culture that unfortunately has  contributed to negative stereotpes about Chicanos/Mexicans in this country and abroad?
