For this assignment, you will be required to take photographs of retailing phenomena. The purpose is to see how the concepts we discuss in class (Chap. 17, in particular) are actually used in the store and other real-world settings. The pictures must be of retailing phenomena, but that doesn’t have to mean that all pictures come from stores. For example, you could take pictures of farmers’ markets, special events (art shows, etc.). I encourage you to be creative–the only stipulation is that your photos must reflect retailing phenomena. For the written paper, you should discuss the course concepts each one of your pictures illustrates and how it ties in with retailing practice. Be sure to include copies of your pictures in your report. The maximum number of pictures is 20.
