The students observe 5 happenings of lighting in the real world. Examples include; a sunrise or sunset, a street at night, a storm, a sunny day, a cold day, the woods in the afternoon, etc.

The students are required to comment on the qualities of light at work (Color, Intensity, Distribution, Movement), mood and atmosphere of happening, and anything interesting they discovered or observed.

Grade will be determined based on these components: -Completion: The assignment must be complete -Creativity: How much creativity is used in format as well as presentation -Comprehension: How well an understanding of content and material is indicated.
