For Prof. Dan response to discussion question

Paula, thank you for your posting and detailing. I appreciate that very much. I like your thought that many people are attracted to pseudoscience because of stimulation and amusement. What do you think is the reason why we are so attracted to outrageous claims? Do we have a conspiracy gene? Also, would you look at George Berkeley and the four Idols of the Mind? I would appreciate this very much and I would like to know how you could apply these to your own personal thinking and the valuation. Stephen
