Principles and Theory of Security Management

Question 1.   many organizations have drastically changed their security postures and the way they think about security. In addition to looking at your own organizations, and your personal security, both before and after 9/11, how has government reacted on the federal, state, and/or local level to counter various global and domestic threats?

If you’re not comfortable discussing your own organization – or don’t really see anything there – think of places you’ve been: stores, banks, churches, public parks, public events such as sports games/concerts, etc.: how secure are they, in your opinion, and why do you think that? Have you seen any changes? What would you recommend for improvement?

Question 2. How does private security differ from law enforcement in what it is able to do to protect and serve those for whom it works?
