Proper listening skills can enhance the way individual interact in a particular environment. A person should be able to develop skills that may assist him/her in trying to comprehend on a particular topic. The methods used in hearing and communication should work towards the improvement of the situation. About my personal experience, I was not able to understand what was being communicated by the speaker due to the distraction I got from my colleague. It had bothered me very much hence not being able to comprehend fully what was being required. In addition, noise from my colleagues was also another factor hindering me from listening. The situation can be controlled by enhancing eye contact to the speaker all the time. Being able to ask questions regarding a particular entity may also be important in controlling the situation of distraction from friends.
