There are differences between the terms leader and leadership. There are various behavioral theories related to leadership. Kurt Lewin identified three (3) leadership styles: autocratic, democratic, and laissez-faire.

Think about a leader whom you worked with in the past, and respond to the following in discussion:

Discuss the characteristics of the leader.

Is the leader's style autocratic, democratic, or laissez-faire? Why or why not?

How does this leader help his or her followers achieve the organization’s goals?
