In approximately 2-3 minutes, verbally discuss the following in an oral presentation format. You may use a notecard or one-page outline with talking points as a reference. However, do not write out the answers and simply read your presentation.

• Describe your reasoning behind deciding on your research topic.
• Describe your experience in gathering sources. Where did you find most of your sources? What difficulties did you encounter?
• Describe the method you used for organizing your research notes (not your actual essay).
• Relay the thesis statement of your Research Essay, and one supporting argument.
• Describe one opposing view and how you refuted it.

Assignment Requirements: For this assignment, you should:

• Discuss (in detail) all of the above points.
• Use effective verbal (steady rate, clear quality and volume of voice) and non-verbal (eye contact, gesturing, appearance) techniques when giving your presentation.
