PowerPoint “A Day in the Life of Colonial America” presentation needed!

My kid needs to get A on this and never did it and I need by Saturday night to he can practice presentation!

“A Day in the Life of Colonial America” Project

Create an advertisement!  Using Microsoft PowerPoint you will create an attractive and informational commercial which encourages people to come to the colony that you choose to work on.  Your advertisement must include all of the aspects mentioned in the “List of Ingredients” outlined later in this sheet.  Background music is optional, but would be a nice touch. Definitely would like the music!

Middle Colony - Deleware!

When you walk into class on Tuesday November 26th you must have your completed projects ready to go.  That means that BEFORE then you will need to print it, save it on a thumb/flash drive, color it, practice your presentation, and anything else that you need to do to be sure that you are ready to present it to your class on TUESDAY NOVEMBER 26.

“List of Ingredients”

To receive full credit on your project ALL of the following ingredients must be in your final “recipe”.  Rubrics for the various projects can be accessed on the class page.

1.  Name of Colony

2.  Year (must be between 1650 and 1750)

3.  5 geographic features

4.  Impact or importance of religion (mention the correct religion(s) for your colony)

5.  System of government

6.  Role of men

7.  Role of women

8.  Fashions for men, women and children

9.  Style of home (architectural design)

10.  Population

11.  Industry (how they make money)
