Hello i need a good comment related with this argument .A paragraph  with no more 300 words

Cultural competencey is important in nursing because for one according to u.s. news, the white population is expected to  be the minority by the year 2020. That means that the resulting population will be of mixed race, different race, asian, black, mexican, hispanic, latino and others. So we have to be culturally sensitive because there will be no majority soon and we all have to interconnect and at the very least show respect for a persons differences. We all have differences, and to be a nurse we can't condescend to a patient, we can't assume, we have to ask. To offend by ignorance is bad, but to offend and know better is insulting.
