iLAB OVERVIEW
General Comments about the Microsoft Project Exercises
Sometimes certain tasks must be constrained by dates, rather than only by the predecessors. For example, the Independence Day holiday is not dependent upon us getting our BBQ ready and buying fireworks (predecessor tasks) but by the fact that this holiday MUST occur on July 4. Once we have determined what these constraints are, we can set our project baseline and be ready to complete work on our project. To finalize our project plan in order to begin work, we will:
- Use constraints to set date limitations.
- Set a project baseline schedule.
