Population and Economic Change

1.  Choose an article dated 2012. - I chose the article which is named "The effect of urbanization of china's fertility"(see the pdf file what i uploaded) 

2.  Verify that the journal article is indeed about human populations.

3.  Verify that the journal article discusses some economic aspects of the issue.

4.  Your term paper should be titled, “Review of LastNameofAuthor(s) (date of publication)”.  For example, “Review of Bhat and Halli (1999)”.

5.  After reading, digesting, and re-reading the article, perform the following tasks:

·       -  Summarize the issue being discussed.

·       - Tell me what empirical methods and calculations the authors are using to shed light on the issue.(Refer to the class notes- see what i uploaded)  Give an example. 

·       - Tell me what the authors conclude.

·        - Draw a flow diagram for the economy (or features of the economy) and the population (or features of the population) that is specific to this journal article.

·        - Tell me what you were unable to understand about this article.

6.  Make sure that you have put quotation marks around ANYTHING you have directly quoted from ANY SOURCE.    Reference ALL sources used at the end of your paper, even Wikipedia.
