Pop culture’s influence on concept of addiction " Discussions"

 discuss the concept of addiction and the influence of pop psychology on it.  The term addiction has been widely used for years to refer to a condition related to drugs, alcohol, nicotine, etc.  But, some argue that we are taking the concept of addiction too far by labeling habitual behaviors such as sex, social media use, gambling behaviors as “addictions”.  What are your thoughts?
