Ponzi Scheme Reaction Paper

In this exercise you are to write a short paper (1-2 pages) analyzing what you have read about Ponzi schemes, and why such schemes are so successful at luring unsuspecting investors.  Is it the scheme itself or the person behind it that causes people to be sucked into the scheme?  Use some examples such as Charles Ponzi himself and Bernie Madoff to help explain your answer.
