• Choose an interest group that interests you, and research that group. Click on the HUD Public Interest Group Web page for a complete list of public interest groups.
• In a presentation of 6–8 slides, provide a brief history of the interest group. Answer the following questions in your presentation:
  • Why, how, and when was it created?
  • What impact has the group had locally, nationally, and globally over time? Provide specific examples in your presentation.
  • What types of changes is the group currently trying to make in public policy?
