1.     What would you say to the claim that "one man's terrorist is another's freedom fighter?" Provide examples from current violent acts and wars around the world to prove your point.  Do you think a thoughtful definition of "terrorism" would make this matter more clear? How?

2.     John Locke grants people the right to rebel against any government, which violates peoples' rights; my question is: when is it justifiable to resort to violence and who should determine when laws are unjust?
