In class, we will discuss different strategies that political representatives use in order to get re-elected. Your job will be to follow a political representative on Twitter and observe that representative’s attempts to advertise, claim credit, and take positions on policy issues. To complete this assignment, please submit a Word document that includes the name of the political representative as well as 3 tweets that best exemplify each of the above strategies (1 tweet for each strategy). Copy and paste the tweets to a word document. Finally, you must correctly match the name of the activity (advertising, credit claiming, or position taking) to the tweets copied to the word document to demonstrate you knowledge of the three strategies as you observe them in the political world.
