POL 340 5-7 page paper on "War on Drugs"

The United States has implemented a criminal justice policy called the “war on drugs.”  This policy has been in existence for decades.  Assume you are a staff assistant to the President who has decided to investigate the effectiveness of this particular policy.  After your inquiry you have decided that a new policy must be undertaken. What policy participants and stakeholders would be relevant to your project?  Additionally, what policy model might be must effective? Your project must include the public policy process of, problem identification, agenda setting, policy formulation, policy implementation and evaluation.
