• From a Sociology journal: the best way to do this is to search for your topic using the library database calledsocioligicalabstract Finding an article that comes from sociology will help you keep your final project focused on sociological explanations.

Once you have found the article, look for the following information, and submit  it as your autopsy report, which is due Feb 12th, at 11:00pm :

• Title of Article
• Author(s)
• Name of Journal
• thesisof the Article
• Data source used (did they use data that had already been collected, like the UCR or the U.S. Census, or did they collect their own data?)
• Research methods used (did they use statistical analysis? A survey? How did they conduct their research?)
• What did the authors find? How does this article help you understand the topic?

Turn this in by the Sept 12th at 11:00pm. Your paper should be 1-2 pages, using 12 point font, double spaced, .75-1" margins. Please make sure your name is on the paper!
