Please pick a topic of your interest and select 3-5 recent article from newspapers and magazines, such as New York Times, Financial Times, Bloomberg Business Week, the Wall Street Journal, Economist, etc., that discusses your interest area. In other word, the article of your choice should be within a year.

You are required to write:

1. A short summary of the article you choose (1 point)

2. Why is it important? (2 points)

3. Consider yourself as a human resource manager. What is the impact/ implication of this event on the human resource activities in your company? That is, what should you do or what shouldn’t you do?  (2 points)

1. Font: 12pt, Times New Roman, 1 inch margin, double space

2. Page limit: 2 (Please include references if any. References and other supportive materials are not included in the page limit). 0.5 point will be deducted if the page limit is exceeded.
