JavaScript is an object-based language which means it has the technical sense to describe any programming language summarize the main points or operations. Java is an object-oriented language. An OOPs, object-orented programing system, is an abstraction. An abstraction is managed by well-defined objects and their classifications. An example would be a car. People think of a car as one object, but a car really has subsystems that come together. A car has gearing systems, steering, and engine.

JavaScript and Java are two different things. Java is a programming language and JavaScript provides interactive elements to websites. JavaScript can be used to make a pop up window, this could provide more information for a user. A jump menu allows the user to quickly go to information or a certain page. The submenu is something I often find frustrating on some web sites. The submenu is used if you hover over a link or item and then it displays another list. The frustrating part of using this is usually that the sub list disappears before being able to select what you what, this could be fixed by having a larger area in the list so mousing out of it is harder.
