Great work! I am curious, however: Do you find yourself drawn to Baskin and Fawcett's essay? You say that it is the most effective, yes, but is it the one that you find the most engaging or interesting? I am curious to see whether you are allowing your personal interests to impact your analysis, which would be find in this context. I do quite like the definition of a thesis statement that you use; it is always good for us to remember that a thesis statement must have a variable element (the "arguable defensible claim") in order to function correctly! I look forward to talking to you, and others, more about these matters throughout the week!
