Please help to answer the two questions listed in this word document, as well as respond to the classmates answer that i have listed

In this attatched word document there are 2 main questions. One question is regarding the text book, which I have l\actually copy and pasted the reading material into this document as well, so no need to search for it. The second question is a seperate question all in itself, and does not require the use of text, but it would be appreciatted to involve research methods or study methods that are used in "Research Methods in Psychology" 9th edition text book.
