This is an informal reflection. You should neither do research nor consult outside sources. Rather, you should give answers based on your pre-existing views. The reflection will provide a baseline, a point of comparison for later work. Accordingly, there are no “right” answers.

Your reflection should be structured by the following questions, each of which can (likely) be addressed in one paragraph.

• What is “God”?

• Give an argument believers might advance for the existence of God.

• Give an argument nonbelievers might advance for the nonexistence of God.

• What are “faith” and “reason”? How are they related?

• What are "science" and "religion"? How are they related?
