Philosophy short paper
http://ethics.iit.edu/publication/md_te.html
Read this article. The post should address the main question of this article – what is it to think like an engineer? (according to the author? according to you?) Is having a professional code of ethics part of "thinking like an engineer", and does such a professional code of ethics protect engineers, as well as the public, as the author argues? Were the astronauts who died in the Challenger explosion members of the "public", and did Lund do the right thing? Is there ever a time that an engineer should not "hold paramount" the safety, health and welfare of the public?
This post should be approximately 250 - 500 words long. You should include quotes from the assigned reading to either support your own points or which you might want to criticize in making your own points. In other words, you should show evidence of having read the entire assigned article.
