Topic: Wages are unequal amongst the sexes

Specific Purpose Statement: To persuade my fellow classmates to believe that wages

should be equal for men and women in the United States.

Thesis Statement: Rather than paying women and men of our country different wages

for the same work, the government should pay all people, regardless of their gender, the same amount as a way of furthering equality within our nation. (Claim of Policy)
