Personal vs. Business Ethics - Premise

Some business ethicists maintain that whereas personal ethics has to do with what is considered right or wrong behavior, business ethics is concerned with appropriate behavior inside an organizational setting only. In other words, ethical behavior in business has less to do with moral principles than with what society deems to be appropriate behavior in the business context.

Questions to Analyze

(1) Do you agree with the personal vs. business ethics distinction?

(2) Do personal and business ethics ever overlap?

(3) Should personal ethics play a role in business ethical decision making?

Hint: a paragraph starts with a topic sentence, which sums up the entire paragraph, and takes about 4-8 sentences of analysis
