What legal concerns are raised by these issues?
With the development and growth of the Internet and the continuing growth of technology, opportunities have opened new business ventures. It has also opened new ways for individuals to commit fraud and new avenues to make money. All the issues listed in the scenario the law has to protect people/companies property. The law needs to prosecute when possible which will possibly discourage people from possibly breaking these laws.
Predict which of these issues will be of major concern in the future regarding the law and business practices.
I predict that security and privacy issues will be the biggest concern in the future. In the past couple of years, we have seen more and more companies getting hacked and their customer’s information to include credit card information being stolen. We’ve seen more and more ransomware taking place at hospitals, business, and personal computers. The legislators need to create new laws to deal with these issues, and business has to improve ways to protect themselves.

Internet domain names are linked to trademark issues. Technology makes it easy to copy and distribute music and movies without paying royalties. Business conducted on the internet raise security and privacy issues.
What legal concerns are raised by these issues?
In today's culture, almost everyone uses the internet whether it be for business or personal use. Yes, technology does make it easy to copy and distribute music and movies without paying royalties. Napster music, founded by Shawn Fanning back in 1999 at the age of 19 and he created it while messing around on the web at the University of Michigan. He allowed users to download and share copyrighted music. Metallica and Dr Dre were just a couple of the top names who filed suit against the company and won. (Agencies, 2000)
Other legal concerns raised by these issues would these that are associated with intellectual property theft. Which are described above. Phishing, where the victim receives an e-mail that appears to come from a site such as PayPal, eBay, or a bank, asking her to verify her account information. Clicking on the link provided takes the victim to a "dummy" site, one that appears to look legitimate but in fact is a clever counterfeit. When the victim logs in, her account information is then transmitted to the phisher. (Rogers, 2012) The progression of technology is the conclusion of the phishing and fraud.
Predict which of these issues will be of major concern in the future in regard to the law and business practices.
I feel that the major concern in the future in regards to the law and business practices would be piracy. As I mentioned earlier about Napster Music getting shut down from record sharing for copyright infringement. The record companies/artists were not receiving compensation for their music. It was a huge monetary loss for the music industry. With the upgraded technology we now have it has expanded the options for higher frequency and with the television and film industry also facing the same problems.
We now have from Apple products including iPod and Macintosh Music store where business ethics are in place. As for the film and television industry, there is still much work to do to protect them against piracy.
