1.After looking at all three of the child care websites, I believe, the early head start program website is the most beneficial to parents as well as professional care provider’s development.

The head start programs website was very user friendly and too overly crowd with its interface. The website has different sections to include: child development/education, comprehensive services/systems, and programs/initiatives (Early Head Start, 2016). It also included various links to videos for parents and family to use. The one different from the other two websites, it has enhanced section on professional development for care givers. This section included: videos, policy guides, conference/events, providing information on credential and training (Early Head Start, 2016). The next website resources, which I believe was the second most helpful was the Zero to Three website.  Its webpage provides parents on various topics to include: behavior/development, maltreatment, care/education, public policy, podcasts and videos (Zero To Three, 2016).  The website was a little confusing with all of busiest going on, but came out some detail information on various child care topics. However, for professional care providers it lack resources with only offering one section with online learning.

The last resources was before5.org website. This webpage interface was very easy to use and it very simple, not a lot of details. The webpage provides parents with tips and tricks for the care of their child/children. The webpage focus on only a couple of areas, how they grow and how you can help (Before5, 2016). However the webpage lacks detailed information, it doesn’t give any examples or exercise for parents to use. In addition, it solely focuses on the parent and child relationship and doesn’t take in account any professional care development.

2. Zero To Three: This is the first time I have read into Zero To Three’s mission to, “ensure babies and toddlers have a strong start in life”.  According to Zero To Three, a child’s health and development are directly influenced by the quality of care and experiences a child has with his parents and other adults.  This is a great site which provides parents and caregivers with information on early childhood development.  I found this site to be very well organized and user friendly and do not see why I would make any changes due to the fact in which I believe this site provides a great amount of useful and important information for both parents and caregivers. Before5: I really enjoyed going through Before5’s website. I felt it offered great information for both parents and caregivers.  I like how Before5 breaks down how children grow and ways parents can help with their child’s development and I also like the videos provided for further support.  This site is also great to visit when caregivers/parents are in need of ideas for activities they can provide for their child and play together.  The blog area provides exercises a parent can do but I feel it would be great to provide an actual blog where parents/caregivers can share parenting advice, ideas on activities, crafts and even kid friendly recipes. Early Head Start: I’m familiar with Early Head Start’s website due to previous research assignments about the program.  I think this site is user friendly for both parents, caregivers, and educators and there are no changes I would make.  One feature about the site which I find great is the option to change the language to Spanish.  I really appreciate what the Head Start program does to help support low income families and providing additional useful information on other supportive networks and programs.
