A paper about Mahatma Ghandi

This paper should be 3-5 pages long (about 800-1500 words not including the bibliography). 

You must use a minimum of three (3) scholarly sources.  One must be from the Encyclopedia of Religion, or a Bibliographical Encyclopedia available through the library.  You may NOT use a general encyclopedia found online.  You must integrate material from your sources and use proper citations, as well as including a bibliography.  The class will have a session in Alden Lab in order to become familiar with Religious Studies research materials and citation/bibliography formats.

The paper must include:

• Who is this person? Brief description (biographical and cultural background);
• Spiritual biography (what was their religious or spiritual experience and what impact did it have on them, what impact have they had on others (if any), why are they a known religious figure);
• Connections with at least three of the elements and ways of looking at religion we have studied this semester.
