Choose an organization that you wish to know more information about. For this exercise, this organization should be public and relatively well-known. Research your chosen organization or company. Do not include individual private information if you find it (including addresses or phone numbers), just indicate that it is available. Supply the following information: Provide the name of the company that you chose to research. Provide the company’s Web site. Perform a WHOIS query on a company of your choice, and provide the following information: What is the registered physical address? Does the address match the mailing address that is listed on the company's web site? What is the significance of multiple mailing addresses? What or who are the technical and domain name system (DNS) contacts? Did they list valid names or e-mail addresses? When does the domain registration expire? Locate a list of executives for the company. Can you find a home phone number for anyone? If the company is public, answer the following questions: What is the company's ticker symbol? Visit the EDGAR, and search the 10Q and 10K filings. Who are these documents signed by? Is the company currently hiring? Check the company's Web site or other popular Internet job boards to see if the company is hiring. What is the network route to the Web server? Note: Do not perform a DNS zone transfer for the domain. Describe or list any information that you found that should not be publicly available
