NAEYC Position Paper on Cultural and Linguistic Diversity

Read the NAEYC Position Paper on Cultural and Linguistic Diversity (in the Resource section of Module 5). Write a summary of the main points in the paper, and then discuss how you will apply these points in your work with children and families. Your paper should be approximately two pages in length.

Article Reviews

You will write two article reviews for this section, one on the article “Same, Different, Diverse” (in the Resource section of Module 5) and one on an article of your choosing related to supporting literacy for child who are culturally and linguistically diverse. Your article reviews should include a summary of the main points of the article and your response to it, including whether or not you agree with the main points, and how you will apply the new information in your work with children and families. Each article review should be approximately two pages in length.
