You are setting up a small internal network with 3 different workgroups (A, B, and C).  You need to use the IT Laptop to configure the routers and switches in your network based on the following requirements:

* Set the hostname for each device according to the following naming convention:

DeviceType-Workgroup (e.g. Switch-A)

* Set the domain name for each device to be mis351.edu

*  No devices on the network should use the default VLAN.  Use the following VLAN information for each wrokgroup:

WorkgroupVLANVLAN Name

A                 101WrkGrpA

B                 102WrkGrpB

C                 103WrkGrpC

Make sure you set ALL ports to the appropriate VLAN.

*  You have been allocated the 172.18.128.0 /23 network to use. Each workgroup has the following number of hosts:

WorkgroupHosts

A31

B16

C102

*  You want to use the smallest subnets possible to perserve IP addresses, but you also want to make sure that each workgroup has room to grow by up to 25%.

*  You also have reserved the last /28 subnet of your /23 to use for smaller point-to-point networks between your routers.  You plan to start with the network from A-B, then A-C, and then B-C.

*  Each workgroup will use the last IP address in its subnet for the default gateway.

*  Assign each switch the second to last IP in the workgroup subnet.

*  Assign the IT server the first IP address in the workgroup C subnet.

* Note the IT server has a NIC that is set to 100MB / Full Duplex; you need to configure its switch port to match these settings.

*  Configure all PCs to acquire their TCP/IP settings automatically from the IT server's DHCP server.

*  Label the switch port the IT server is connected to "IT-Server".

*  Add a MOTD banner to to all network devices in your network that says "MIS 351 Final" using the # as the deliniating character.

* Configure all network devices to sned log information to the SYSLOG server on the IT server.

* Configure all routers to set their clocks and update calendars from the IT servers NTP server.

* Configure all network devices to be remotely manged using SSH.

* Secure all network devices from being accessed either from the console port, or SSH by requiring the following local username and password:

username: netadmin

password: $uper@dmin

* Make sure the netadmin user's password is stored in an encrypted format.

*  Save all device configurations so they won't be lost if the device is rebooted.

*  Save a copy of your startup config to the IT server's TFTP server.
