Overview of the course

Over the last seven weeks, we studied and discussed the steps involved in the recruitment and staffing process.  For our final forum discussion topic, I would like you to read the recent article in the USA Today titled, " Danger of Digital Divide: Lack of diversity could undercut Silicon Valley", and answer the following two questions:

1.     As an HR director for an Information Technology based company in Silicon Valley, CA, where would you focus and conduct your recruitment to attract qualified applicants from different ethnic backgrounds (IE: Outside of California?  Niche advertising and employment websites? HBCUs or HACUs?)

2.     What was the most intriguing element of the article?  Explain.
