outline should be very specific. Use complete sentences.

It should have background information, thesis statement, topic sentences, and details in paragraphs.

outline should include the following:

topic.

An elaborated tentative research question.

Introduction: explain how you are going to introduce the topic of the essay.

(You will have no more than 2 introductory paragraphs)

Definition of topic.

A tentative thesis statement (the answer for the research question).

A plan of what you are going to do in the body paragraphs.

Each body paragraph (10-12 body paragraphs)contains:

A topic sentence and details that support the topic sentence.

Conclusion (one conclusive paragraph): Explainhow to end your essay.
