B. Product and Service Description
1. Describe the Product and service that will be provided. (Types of surgeries which will be provided)
2. Competitive Comparison – factors that given the business advantages and disadvantages. For example, level of quality and uniqueness. Typical competition of an ASC.
C. Operational Plan
1. Location
a. Describe the projects current location (attached or not attached to the hospital?)
b. Project cost associated with current location
c. Include legal agreements, utilities forecasts, etc. (Include support documents in appendix.
2. Legal Structure/Environment
a. Describe the legal structure of the Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) – number of room, staff space – changing room/break room, physician space – changing room/workspaces, see CLC Project information
b. List the owner/corporate officers and identify their strengths
c. Permits
d. Health, workplace, or environmental regulations
3. Patient Flow
4. Inventory/Equipment

a. List the personnel who will run the ASC
b. Describe their responsibilities as well as their abilities
