Organizational Behavior

Organizational Behavior Topic Paper: Each student will study a chosen aspect of Organizational Behavior in greater depth than presented by the text and supplementary class materials. Students will pick their topic from the list below and inform the instructor of the selection by the second week of class. Students may suggest other relevant topics.  Each student will have a unique topic – no duplicates.  The written paper will be five to seven pages, typed double-spaced with 1” margins and in 12 pt. font.   A minimum of four scholarly sources should be used.  No more than two may be from the internet.  Be sure to cite all sources appropriately. (PLEASE PROVIDE A COPY OF THE ARTICLE) 

TOPIC: PERSONALITY AND WORK PERFORMANCE

The paper should provide, but not be limited to, the following information:

• A clear definition of the topic/issue selected
• Explanation of how the topic pertains to the field of Organizational Behavior
• Description of how the topic impacts business/organizational effectiveness
• Description of how the topic impacts managers
• An example or illustration of the topic in operation or practice

A summary of the key points learned about the applications and implications of this topic for the management of an organization’s people and operations
