Option 2: Geology Book Review.

1. Select a book from the geological sciences that you would like to read and critique -- perhaps a book on mining, gemstones or space?  Choose a topic that interests you and that you would like to learn more about.  The book should be at least 100 pages long.
2. Read the book. While reading the book, take notes.  What new information surprised you? What point did the author make that you agree/disagree with?  What are the reasons for your agreement/disagreement?  What did you learn that might change the way you think about this topic?
3. What meanings did you make for yourself as you read the book? Would you recommend the book to another person, and why?  Or why not?

APA: responses should total 2-to 3-pages.
