As we all know, if something is not measured, it does not improve. Metrics and monitoring performance is so very important, especially in today's markets.
All too often, industries struggle with measuring performance and especially customer satisfaction. And it is amazing how many of these are service-oriented. For instance, the financial sector has been taking hit after hit over several years. Measuring performance and satisfaction should be top priority.
Can anyone else think of a company or industry where measuring performance and satisfaction should be top priority but they are simply struggling to do it?
