FINAL RESEARCH PAPER

DIRECTIONS:  Prepare a five-page (5) (double-spaced) research paper in APA format on an operation management topic from the book (five pages of content equals about 2000 words). While you can choose a topic of your choice, you need to focus your paper around how organizations can attain a competitive advantage by using a sustainable business model.  Along with reviewing your textbook, make sure you comb through the databases at the library as this is a research paper.  The paper requires a minimum of three APA references other than your textbook.  Two of these references MUST come from peer-reviewed journals.  This paper is intended to complement the course material and serve as a bridge between what was learned during the course and a way to put this information to use in a possible real-life scenario.  The paper does not need to include an abstract.

Prior to writing your paper, you must get approval on the paper topic.  Failure to gain approval will result in a zero (0) for the assignment.  The purpose of gaining topic approval is to ensure the topic selected aligns with the course objectives and does not duplicate other papers.

You must include a Reference List for all sources.  The paper will be in APA format with in-text citations and reference pages.  Those papers not in APA format will have points subtracted.  The paper should be prepared in Microsoft Word.  You will need to write without grammar or spelling mistakes.  You should eliminate all personal pronouns, contractions, “this” without reference, and passive sentences.
