Keeping in mind the mood and tone you want to set, edit your background research essay into introductory and conclusionary paragraphs.  The introduction should be approximately 15 seconds and your conclusion 5 seconds.  Do not tell the audience what to think but, guide their mood and open their minds to receive the ideas you are sharing.  Less is more!
